The Mission of DeSoto Animal Rescue Society is to be a Voice for Voiceless Animals, giving them a better quality of life through in-home foster care, adoption, pet over-population education, humane education and higher ideals of humanity toward all animals.

Adoption process

Step 1: Complete the adoption application: Step 2: The foster parent will review your application and contact you to: Clarify your information, Answer any questions you may have, Address any concerns, Arrange for you to meet the pet you're considering adding to your family. Step 3: Finalizing the Adoption: We ask for a non-refundable $125 adoption donation for dogs and puppies and a $75 non-refundable adoption donation for cats and kittens.
