Western States English Setter Rescue

About

Western States English Setter Rescue (WSESR) is a small western states-based organization of foster homes dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of English setters (and whatever else shows up on our doorsteps). We are scattered throughout the western states and rely on volunteer foster homes for English setters in need. WSESR is in the process of applying to become a 501 (c)(3) charity under the IRS. WSESR rescues English setters from animal shelters, as well as owners who can no longer care for their pets. All dogs spend time in a foster home and are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped prior to adoption. WSESR works with other English setter rescue organizations (national and local groups). If you are unable to find a dog that fits your needs, please check other English setter rescue organizations. Our primary focus is English setters and while we love and are dedicated to this breed, we are first and foremost animal lovers.
