Take A Chance Animal Rescue Organization is a small nonprofit organzation that performs adoptions in Jefferson, LA. But, we are more than just an adoption focused group. In the near future we hope to implement and expand on more owner retention programs that will be available in the community. We have a full service daycare and boarding facility where you dog can run around and be....well a dog. This doggie daycare helps fund our rescue efforts and every penny goes back into our nonprofit. Even though we are a rescue group, we are not an open admission shelter. This means that we will not take in your unwanted dog or cat, our efforts go towards the animals already in local kill shelters who are running out of time and will be euthanized for space.

Before you can be considered for adoption you must submit and adoption application and agree to a home visit where we will meet with you and your other pets (if you have any).
