About

Krewe de Rescue is a 501 (c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to rescuing the unwanted, abused, neglected animals in the Mobile, Al and surrounding areas. Our goal is to work with local shelters, rescue groups, and the public to get these animals into loving FURever homes. While working toward this goal, we engage in community service. KDR relies solely on a dedicated group of volunteers to operate. If you are interested in joining us in any capacity, you will find it is a rewarding experience.

Adoption process

All of our adoptable dogs are available for a $150.00 Adoption fee and can be found by browsing our available pets under the animals tab. Your adoption fee covers a vet check, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal exam, deworm, spay/neuter, microchip and heartworm check if over 6 months of age. Krewe de Rescue is an all volunteer rescue. Once your application is submitted a volunteer will review the application, assign the application for a vet check or home visit. Once the application is approved, the application will be assigned to the foster of the animal in which you are interested in adopting. The foster should contact you to set up a time and place to meet.
