Kitten Associates

About

Kitten Associates is a non-profit, 501(c)3, all-volunteer, home-foster based cat rescue located in Sandy Hook, CT. We rescue adults cats and kittens from kill-shelters or who are friendly strays that need safe harbor. We're one of the few, "No Kibble Fed" rescues in the country because species appropriate nutrition is a cornerstone of our rescue philosophy. We know that nutrition builds a lifetime of good health and we educate our adopters on how to provide that diet once their cat or kitten comes home. We also have a free cat behavior consultation service that strives to help anyone who needs it keep their cat in their home, so the cat doesn't lose their home and enter the shelter system.

Adoption process

1. Fill out a Pre Adoption Form. 2. Once we receive your form, one of our Adoption Counselors will review it and contact you with any questions. Our goal is to do this within one to three business days of receiving your application. 3. We schedule a Home Visit. All members of your family should be available during the quick visit. We understand you have a busy schedule, so we can set up a time that works for you, including some weekend and evening hours. 4. Come to Kitten Associates and meet your match! We do same day adoptions, so you can bring your new family member home with you after you fill out and sign our Adoption Contract and pay the Adoption Fee.
