About

The Amanda Connection's goal is to find homes for our wonderful animals -- most of whom were rescued from terrible situations or simply abandoned by their owners to fend for themselves. We have a kaliedoscope of kitties ranging from tiny kittens to well mannered and lovingly friendly adults. We try hard to match up all potential adopters with a suitable feline (or canine) companion to match their needs, desires and lifestyle. We cannot take owner surrenders at this time. If you have a pet you need to rehome we might be able to help with the process, but we cannot take your pet. We can offer you advice on ways to keep from haveing to get rid of your pet, depending on your situation.

Adoption process

If adopters are renters they need to provide proof that it is alright with their landlord to have a cat or dog. All kittens and cats must leave the foster home in a cat carrier. Kittens and cats are indoor cats only, declawing is not permitted. Adoption contract is required (we provide the paperwork). APPLICATIONS: The more information you provide on your application the better - tell us about the home you can offer, why you are looking for this particular type/breed of pet, etc. It helps us ensure a good match. Incomplete applications cannot be considered, so please take a few minutes and be generous with the information you provide. Finally, please be patient - we are volunteers, we have 'real jobs' and families.. so it may take a day or two to get back to you. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you!
