In January 2004 Animals Deserve Better Incorporated as a non-profit 501c3 in the State of Georgia; qualifying under IRS codes as a tax exempt charity on both Federal and State levels, and obtained its Animal Shelter License with the Department of Agriculture for the State of Georgia. Animals Deserve Better, Inc is located in East Cobb, Marietta, Georgia. . In 2019 Animals Deserve Better, Inc filed for and was granted a dba ” Paws For Life USA ” as this name is more in keeping with the Service Dog program that has been the main focus of the organization since 2010.
