All Paws Considered is an all volunteer non-profit(501-C3), no-kill pet rescue organization licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Our goal is to rescue neglected, abused and homeless animals and provide them with needed medical care and rehabilitation until their permanent home can be found. We have a small network of foster homes and try to help as many animals as we can, including those that are ill or have physical disabilities. All of our pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. They are also up-to-date on all vaccinations. We are dedicated to helping our adoptable animals find good homes where they will be safe, well cared for and loved for the rest of their lives. All Paws Considered was started by a mother-daughter team in July of 2001 after finding two stray dogs. "Shep" and "Buddy" were found in our neighborhood in terrible shape. Both were severely malnourished, had heartworm, and appeared to have had a very rough life for being such young dogs. Numerous attempts were made to locate owners--all were unsuccessful. Knowing what would happen to them if taken to the local shelter forced us to take matters into our own hands. So here we are today, APC Rescue, started out from the love we had for our German "SHEP"herd and his little "BUDDY" .
