The mission of the Anna L. Haas Humane Society of Cobb County is to promote humane welfare and responsible animal guardianship through educational community outreach, shelter, and spay/neuter programs.

Adoption process

If you are interested in adopting, please call 770-428-5678. If you reach our voice mail, please leave a detailed message, and one of our counselors will return your call to schedule an adoption appointment. We welcome appointments at our no-kill shelter between the hours of 12 pm – 5 pm, Monday through Saturday. We do our best to match potential adopters with our adoptable pets to ensure a good fit for both your household and the animal. For all potential dog adoptions, we first require a home/fence check to be conducted by an HSCC representative as a part of the adoption process.
