About

Saving One Life is a volunteer run animal (predominantly) rescue and sanctuary based in the Phoenix metropolitan area of Arizona as well as San Diego are of California. We are a truly a never-kill rescue providing any and all care including hospice care for the animals.

Adoption process

We encourage all interested adopters to apply in advance to expedite the process. Please note that applications are reviewed and responded to within 24 - 48 hours. Although not required, an appointment is recommended for cats at our adoption center. To schedule an appointment, please contact us at info@savingonelife.org or through our contact form. We do allow for out of state adoptions on a case by case basis, however we are unable to transport and / or ship any cat under any circumstances. Adopters must personally come to meet the animal and if a match, transport home. We do not allow for third parties to facilitate transport. Adoption fees are typically $150 for kittens, $100 for adults, $75-25 for seniors but may range depending on the particular animal from $25-$200. Adoption fees offset the initial costs of bringing your new feline friend into our rescue and their veterinary needs while with us. The adoption fees in most cases do not come close to covering all costs related to each animal.
