Response-a-Bull Rescue and Shelter for the Misunderstood is America's only non-profit rescue organization that is exclusively dedicated to all misunderstood breeds. We have a family of over 50 dedicated volunteers who share our belief that every dog is an individual and deserves a chance at life and we are committed to saving dogs from open intake shelters that are forced to euthanize for space. Our focus is on the breeds that are portrayed negatively in the media and our communities, and are affected by laws of breed discrimination - Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, German Shepherds, Mastiffs, and many more. We believe in the importance of educating the public about responsible ownership, dispelling the myths surrounding these breeds, and protecting innocent lives.

Adoption process

All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, de-wormed, vaccinated (Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella) and on monthly preventative. The adoption process requires an application, home visit, contract and adoption fee which varies depending on the dog.
