About

Polar Pug Rescue and Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers within Alaska. We are here to help rescue pugs and other small dogs find their 'forever homes'. Dogs surrendered to Polar Pug Rescue and Friends are placed in foster homes with our dedicated volunteers for evaluation, social needs and vet visits before they are available for adoption.

Adoption process

The adoption process begins by filling out the application form. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Once we’ve received the form, and you are approved, you will be contacted by one of our Adoption Coordinators.
