Players for Pits, NFP (PFP) is an Illinois based 501c3 no-kill dog rescue. Founded in 2013, PFP takes in pit bull type dogs who have come across desperate situations and need rescue to save their lives. All funds required to run the rescue come from donations, grants, and business sponsorships.

Adoption process

Be 21+ years old - All adopters must be the Head of their Household or have the permission from the HOH. Live in Illinois - Our radius is centered in the western suburbs and extends approx. 50 miles. If possible, we may make exceptions on a case by case basis. Submit a survey - Our Adoption Surveys take the place of a standard application to welcome more families to adopt. Correspond with our Team Leaders - Jessica, Deana, Domini, Amber, Taylor or our apps team will contact you to discuss your inquiry. Meet our Dogs - We will either set up a homevisit or invite you to an adoption show. Complete the Process - We will verify your current pets vetting, make sure all pets get a long and finish every aspect of our process. Adopt - Finalize the adoption and take your new pet home!
