Little Orphan Ollie's is located in Northwest Arkansas, we receive animals from all over the area. We started in October of 2008 with one dog... Ollie, we decided to name the rescue after him in his honor. Now almost a year later we have rescued and placed several pets in the area. All of our pets will live out their life as part of our family if they are unable to be adopted. Only in the rare circumstance if the animal is too sick to live out their life comfortably do we euthanize. We feed our animals only the best food while they are here and they get the best care at our local vet ( Country View, New hope ). All of our animals are spayed/neutered if they are old enough and fully vaccinated. We do not kennel our animals they are free to roam at our home as if one of our own. We would like to remain debt free, there is no reason for a non-prifit to be in debt. Many shelters and city pounds are having to close their doors due to lack of funding and the animals find themselves homeless again... or worse.
Our adoption procedure is simple. We have an initial application that is filled out so we can get to know you a little better. Then when you have picked out a pet and it is a good match, we have an agreement that is filled out. This is just to explain what you will provide and what we expect from you as the new owner.
