The Junior Humane Society is a non-profit, all volunteer, animal rescue group. For over 30 years, we have helped animals in the Gulf Coast area.

Adoption process

Junior Humane Society holds adoptions events every Saturday at PetSmart (6251 N Davis Hwy, Pensacola, FL 32504) from 12 PM to 4 PM. Potential adopters must fill out an application, have the application approved by a volunteer, and agree to a home visit before adopting. Puppies under 6 months old have a $150+ adoption fee. Puppies and dogs over 6 months are $125+. The fee covers the costs for the animal being up to date on shots, fixed, and current on flea and heartworm medication.
