Jackie's PURRfect Match is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit corporation founded in 1996. We are a small group of dedicated cat-lovers working under the guidance and direction of Jackie Haffke, who has been involved in cat rescue since 1986. Our goal is to find the perfect match of cat and responsible owner to ensure that these wonderful pets live a full, safe and healthy life. We always get to know each cat and kitten so we can determine his or her special needs. Because we want every match to be PURRfect, we take the time to observe each cat in a home environment before offering them for adoption. We know if a cat gets along well with other cats or dogs; we know if a cat needs to be an "only" cat; we know if a cat would be good with children or better with adults only. We want to help you find the right cat! Our group is dedicated to reducing the number of cats and kittens on the streets with a combination of rescue and spay/neuter programs. We rescue as many kittens and mother cat families as possible from the streets during "kitten season". We provide socialization and medical care while they live in our homes until they are ready for adoption. We also provide spay/neuter resources for low-income communities, conduct TNR and provide ongoing support for community cats. Donations are always welcome, and are tax-deductible!
