There is no greater source of joy or satisfaction than the experience of saving the life of an animal and helping it find a loving home. Dirty Dog Squad is an independent rescue group, based in Venice CA. We are a not for profit 501c3 California corporation. We are a boutique rescue group that takes pride in the special attention we give to each of out rescue animals. We believe there are a lot of great homes, and a lot of great dogs, but not every home is great for every dog. We do our best to make sure each of our dogs is placed in a home that best suits them. Our priority is advocating for the comfort, safety, and happiness of the animals we place.

Adoption process

1. Our adoption process starts with completion of our adoption application. You can complete and submit online (preferred) or download and FAX to 888-878-0484 2. After review of your application, we will arrange to introduce our Dirty Dog to you. Usually we will meet at our local adoption events - Typically we are at 2515 Main Street in Santa Monica on Sundays from 10 - 2. Sometimes we can arrange for private meetings as well. 3. After a successful meeting, we complete a home check and introduce the Dirty Dog to any pets and all human members of the adopting family. 4. Adoption is completed with the final paperwork and payment of an adoption fee. As we usually receive multiple inquiries for each Dirty Dog, completion of application and home visits does not guarantee placement.
