About

Sachi Animal Rescue (SAR) was created in September 2009 by a group of dog loving volunteers in the Los Angeles, California area. Our organization is entirely staffed by dedicated volunteers who donate their time, knowledge, effort and money to save and place these dogs with forever families. SAR is solely funded by adoption fees, fundraisers and donations from generous donors. We specialize in rescuing, providing medical care, rehabilitating and placing companion dogs (primarily, but not exclusively, the Boxer breed) that have been abandoned and neglected or even abused, into loving homes. SAR and our volunteers do this because there is such an enormous amount of dogs euthanized every day in this country who would’ve made great companions had they only been given the chance. SAR and our volunteers believe that our goal is to “Find Forgotten Dogs Forever Homes.”
