Island Cat Resources and Adoption (ICRA) is dedicated to improving the lives of free-roaming and unowned cats through spay/neuter, adoption, and community education. We provide education, tools, and resources to those in the local community who can make an immediate difference in their own backyards.

Adoption process

The goal of our adoption process is to place the right cat(s) with the right person. These are the steps: 1. Pick out a cat or think about the qualities you want in a cat. 2. Complete our adoption questionnaire. 3. Meet the cat over a video call with the foster parent to see if the cat is a good fit for your household. 4. Meet with an adoption counselor over a video call for a virtual home visit to go over a safety checklist. 5. We will bring the cat to your home to complete the adoption while remaining outside and physically distant.
