About

The Hopalong Hollow is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization incorporated in 2004. In the last ten years we have placed over 1500 rabbits and small animals into new homes and safe foster care. We work with many animal rescue organizations to help get small animals the most knowledgeable care possible. Our goal is to help “ rehabilitate and re-home” abandoned and neglected animals into “forever homes”. We aim to give all our animals a second chance at life. Rabbits are spayed or neutered before adoption to help reduce the number of homeless animals due to accidental breeding. In addition to our rescue efforts we also help educate on proper care for small animals (particularly rabbits) to create long-lasting, positive relationships between pet and owner. We provide education for any adopting “families”, as well as through events at pet stores, local zoo and area schools. Working to achieve our goal to create a better living environment for all rabbits and small animals.
