About

Greemmore Farm Animal Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit, volunteer-based rescue located on a beautiful six-acre farmette in Southern Chester County, PA. Our rescue mission includes dogs and a variety of farm animals, such as horses, donkeys, pigs, and chickens. All of the animals we rescue are provided with food, shelter, health care, and other forms of nurturing until they are adopted into permanent, loving homes. The dogs we rescue come mostly from high-kill shelters in a variety of south-eastern states: West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina. While in our care, the dogs live in clean, climate-controlled, kennels on our property or in foster homes. The dogs that live on the farm get exercised and socialized three to four times a day. Every day, rain or shine, the dogs go out into play yards to interact with compatible dogs. They also get once or twice-daily walks with our volunteers around the scenic farm property. In these ways, we train and socialize them to become loving family pets.

Adoption process

Step 1: Fill out an online application. Step 2: We will review your application. This may take up to three to five business days. Step 3: We will contact you either by email or phone to discuss your application. If approved, we will email or call you to schedule an appointment. Step 4: Come in for your appointment. All family members must be in attendance unless otherwise specified. Step 5: If a good match is made then you take your new pet home.
