We are a group of volunteers that adopts cats and kittens from Animal Services. We also occasionally trap cats and kittens in the area. Once a cat or kitten becomes part of the feline futures family their health is our utmost concern. All are taken to a veterinarian for a thorough exam. They are tested for feline leukemia, dewormed, defleaed, spayed/neutered and are given all necessary vaccines. They are given a quality diet and vitamins if necessary. The cats and kittens are raised in a series of foster homes where they receive a lot of care and attention. Feline Futures cats are so for life...we're always here to answer questions and help solve problems. We follow up with every cat placed to make sure that the match is the best for everyone involved. By adopting a cat from Feline Futures, you're making a commitment to provide love, care, and medical treatment for the life of the cat, which can be up to 20 years. Adopting a cat is a serious decision, but one that is rarely regretted! We hope your furry companion brings you unlimited joy. Feline Futures kittens have spent their most formative weeks in a warm, stimulating home environment. As a result, they really do shine, bursting with love and energy. Some Feline Futures cats were born feral, and have been rescued young enough to be tamed. Often, these cats take longer to learn to trust and love humans, but when they do come around, they are wonderful pets. For every feral cat we rescue, tame, and spay/neuter, we are preventing literally thousands of cats from being born in the future.
Please take a look at who we have available and an application can be e-mailed to you or sent snail mail. Please e-mail catfutures@aol.com. Please be aware that there is a screening process involved in adopting a pet from Feline Futures. To help ensure that we place our cats in loving, responsible, and committed homes, we reserve the right to turn down potential adopters as we deem necessary. Occasionally, a home delivery or visit may be made a required part of the adoption procedure.
