About

2 x 2 Rescue is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the often overlooked animals at high kill shelters. We are dedicated to bettering the lives of overlooked, neglected, or special needs shelter animals. It is our belief that some animals need more attention with medical, social, or behavioral issues than most shelters are willing or able to provide. We are dedicated to educating the public about the animals in need, and how they can help. Prevention and education are the key factors in animal care. Each animal deserves the perfect forever home and it is our commitment to them that we find it. 2 x 2 Rescue was founded by two like-minded animal lovers. After years in the shelter environment, it became clear that some of the animals that were most in need were being overlooked for various reasons. It was then that Victoria Beasley and Tara Lambertino decided they would determine who most needed help with medical, behavioral, and social issues. It will be at a time when the animal is well mentally and physically that it will be placed in a forever home.

Adoption process

The first step is to fill out an application. Your application will be reviewed and processed as it comes in. We do call for vet references and some vet's office require your permission to discuss your history. Please be patient. Our adoption coordinator has a full time job and sometimes we receive an influx of applications. We will address every application that comes in as soon as possible.
