Yorkie and Small Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c) (3) Non Profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of abused, abandoned, or otherwise homeless dogs. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER but our headquarters is located in the suburbs of Houston/Conroe and the Eastern part of TX, where our dogs are fostered in private homes.

Adoption process
We require an application and a home visit to ensure that our rescued dogs go to the best home possible. All of our dogs are fully vetted before they can leave our homes. That includes a complete check up, shots, spay/neuter, heart worm test, worming and microchip.

For the first time in my life I don’t have a dog and I really want a small dog in my small apartment so I will be contacting you in the next day or two about adopting one of your furry kids.
