Tiny Paws and Chi Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer organization with foster homes in the Houston and Spring, Texas area as well as Connecticut and is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of abused, abandoned and neglected small breed dogs. As in most rescue groups, our dogs are cared for in healthy, safe, loving foster home environments. Tiny Paws and volunteer foster parents work very hard to be sure that their foster dog feels safe and loved while working on housetraining, crate training, socialization, etc. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, fecal tested, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and have all other veterinary needs taken care of prior to posting as adoptable.

Adoption process

Adoption starts with finding a dog you like on our Adoptable Dogs page then filling out the Dog Adoption Application. Even if you don’t see a dog that meets your needs you can still pre-qualify by filling out our Dog Adoption Application, listing the type of dog that you are looking for limiting any excessive time of the process when we have an adoptable dog of your choice. After receiving the Dog Adoption Application, please give us a full 24 hours to contact you. We are constantly on-the-go at shelters rescuing more dogs, tending to our fostered dogs everyday needs or sometimes dealing with emergency veterinarian situations. After filling out the form you will receive an email confirming your application has been received.
