About

Vicky's Pet Connection, established in 1998, is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, caring for and placing homeless and abandoned cats and dogs in our community. Our focus is the rescue of animals from overcrowded animal shelters with priority being given to cats, senior dogs and "special needs" animals. In addition, we are committed to reducing the intake of animals at animal shelters through community spay/neuter programs and through community outreach and education. Since the organization began, nearly 14,400 animals' 'lives have been saved directly through our volunteer-run rescue, and adoption programs. Every animal that passes through our doors is sterilized. In addition, tens-of-thousands of animals lives have been indirectly saved with our aggressive spay/neuter programs.

Adoption process

If you see a pet listed that you are interested in please visit Vicky's Pet Connection and visit "Apply for Adoption". Only fill out an application if there is a specific animal you are interested in and you are ready to take the cat or dog home. If you would like a little assistance in choosing a cat, you can fill out an application and we will be happy to guide you in that process. We will set up an appointment for you to meet the cat or dog you're interested in only after an application has been filled out and approved.
