About

Vet Pet Rescue is a foster based group. Our animals come primarily from overcrowded shelters in Missouri. All animals are kept up-to-date with vaccines and cared for in the homes of our dedicated, volunteer, foster families. Medical needs for our animals are provided by the wonderful staff at Clarkson-Wilson Vet Clinic. The purpose and intent of the Vet-Pet Rescue program is to standardize and improve upon the rescue selection process; the health, behavioral, grooming assessment and program implementation; and finally, the preparation of all animals for optimum foster care and eventually a successful adoption action.
