About

We are a no-kill shelter. Valley Animal Center is dedicated to controlling the pet population through education and spaying/neutering, not euthanasia. We believe animals deserve to be protected, respected, and given every consideration morally and ethically. Our mission is to assist with and provide for the health and welfare of the animals that have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured, to promote the bond between animals and people, and to instill an appreciation and respect for all living creatures with whom we share this earth.

Adoption process

We have all potential adopters fill out an adoption application to be reviewed prior to adoption. To speed up your adoption process, you are welcome to follow the links below to view our pets online and print an adoption application to fill out before you come in. If your new pet does not end up to be the perfect match for your home, we do have a 30-day one-time exchange policy where you can bring the pet back to our shelter and exchange them for a different pet that will work out better for your family. We want to make sure that both you and our pets find the right fit.
