Since founding in 2009, Twin Cities Pet Rescue has focused on rescuing animals in critical need; specifically, special needs cases and those at risk of being euthanized. Once rescued, all animals stay with loving foster homes, receive optimal veterinary care, high-quality nutrition, and basic training in preparation for adoption. We have rescued and placed more than 2,000 animals with loving forever families since our founding.
Dog Adoption Process - To adopt a dog from Twin Cities Pet Rescue, you must: 1. Keep an eye on our Adoptable Pets page. We post new dogs often! 2. Click “Apply for Adoption” from the individual dog’s adoption profile when you find a dog that you’re interested in adopting! This will automatically link your application to the animal you are interested in. Interested in more than one dog? Just mention the additional dog(s) you’re interested in while filling out your application! 3. Meet your prospective pet. If your application to adopt is approved, our adoption coordinators will schedule a meet and greet with you and the dog you are applying to adopt. 4. Complete a home visit. If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed. 5. Finalize the adoption. After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told! Cat Adoption Process - To adopt a cat from Twin Cities Pet Rescue, you must: 1.
