Our adoption center is the heartbeat of our organization - where all of the hard work pays off when a pet leaves for a loving furever home! The moment you walk into our main facility, you can tell that we’re not like any other animal shelter. And it’s not just the gorgeous artwork by Amy Brazil-D’Amico on the walls or the friendly staff. We’re a no-kill shelter which means exactly what it sounds like - animals brought into Humane Society Naples are not euthanized. Also, we’re not funded by any national organizations. We’re strictly a local shelter, lovingly run by local staff and funded through our own efforts. The animals who come to stay with us get lots of attention and we work hard to match them with forever families. We do everything in our power to put them at ease and make sure their stay is a positive one! Our main campus also features a fully equipped veterinary clinic to help keep all animals - shelter and those already in homes - healthy and up-to-date with vaccinations.

Adoption process

Step 1: Search our website and check out all of the dogs, cats and small animals currently available for adoption. Step 2: Visit our adoption center to meet your pet. Meet with an Animal Care Team member to ensure that your pet is the right fit for you. To help find your best match, feel free to bring your children and furry family members down to our adoption locations for a playdate. Step 3: Take your pet home and begin loving your new family member!
