Senior Savers Dog Rescue

About

A Florida based not for profit 501(c)(3) organization rescuing "senior" and sick dogs in shelters. These dogs are destined to a life in a cage on a concrete floor or sometimes a blessing of euthanasia. We find dogs in county shelters who are the least adoptable. These dogs have been abandoned or "dumped" at shelters by owners who perceive them to be old or too sick to still have value. Often these dogs have just been left on a road or abandoned in a back yard and are then are picked up as strays. We work to get them the best veterinary care possible. We feed them the best nutritious grain-free foods, Marcia's famous Chicken Soup, Bone Marrow Stew, fish oil, and many other supplements, too lengthy to list. Our goal is to re-home those we can and/or provide hospice care for those who just need a loving supportive environment to live out their life. We have 4 dogs in our permanent family "pack" and we ALL work to help the Seniors feel love again. And they do, because we've seen the results. Whatever is best for the Senior, plain and simple.
