Animal Rescue Friends Network Inc. (ARF’N) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit volunteer organization. We strive to rescue stray, unwanted and abandoned animals in Hernando and other counties and place them in safe, responsible, loving, PERMANENT homes.

Adoption process

1. Complete an application. 2. ARF’N confirms you own your home or your landlord OKs having animal. 3. ARF’N calls your vet reference. 4. Meet & Greet in your home because animals act differently in different environments and with other animals you may have. Possible trial period, if needed, to make sure the animal fits well into your family unit & schedule. 5. Decision of ARF’N adoption committee; final adoption.
