Schnauzer Rescue of Minnesota is a 501c3 tax exempt rescue run by a veterinarian specializing in schnauzers of all sizes. Our mission is to find permanent, loving homes for rescued schnauzers in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

Adoption process

To get the ball rolling, please contact us at schnauzerrescueofmn@gmail.com for more information and an adoption application! Once you complete an application, send it back, and we will review it. Then we call your references and previous/current veterinarian. If things look good, we will then schedule a home check and meet and greet with the dog you're interested in. Prior to finalizing an adoption, we do allow a 2-4 week foster to adopt period. This allows the potential adoptive family to see if this dog is a good fit for them. We have fantastic fosters that help us determine what kind of environment would be best for a specific dog, and we work very hard to fit families with the right dog!
