Our Mission is to empower and educate our community, to end the cycle of violence in the lives of our K-9 and ALL animal companions. Rescue Me Inc. specializes in rescuing special needs, abused, neglected, injured and senior animals so often over-looked in our shelters. We also serve the community by rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing the animal orphans in our care. We are very careful in the placement of our animals. It is our job and responsibility to see that our animals go to the perfect life-long, loving home. We have a very extensive and careful screening process to insure that our animals find their perfect forever home. We at Rescue Me Incorporated believe that the high cost of a medical procedure should not determine if an animal should live or die. One of our goals is to help cut the euthanasia rate by educating the public on the benefits and importance of animal rescue and spay/neuter programs. We also offer training programs to fit your pet’s individual needs. We also have many programs involving our Military heroes past and present as well as humane education programs and programs with special needs kids and kids who just want to learn about animals. One program Rescue Me Inc. is especially proud of is our service dog program in which we match up our returning Military heroes with a service dog to assist he/she with their P.T.S.D. {Post Traumatic Stress Disorder} T.B.I. {Traumatic Brain Injury} as well as Emotional Support service dog. These dogs will be provided to our heroes FREE of charge!!! They will be as well trained with their dog to ensure the perfect match. Together, Forever and Always for the Animals
We ONLY adopt our orphans out to responsible guardians. We have a VERY extensive adooption application and contract and we require a home visit prior to ANY animal going to his/her new home. In order to protect the pets we place in new homes, we must have certain policies that are followed. As stated our goal is to be certain the adopted pet finds a new home for life, not just another temporary home where he or she will be re~homed after a few months or a few years. We reserve the right to refuse to adopt to anyone for any reason without explanation. These policies are in place for the safety and well being of the animals. We won’t put an animal up for adoption if we know that he/she is sick or injured. That would not be fair to either the animal or the adoptive family. When an animal is judged to be adoptable {by our staff of trained professionals} he/she is, to the best of our knowledge, healthy. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the health or behavior of the animal. {We do temperament test and vet check each animal before every adoption} PLEASE remember that there is a period of adjustment when bringing a new family member home. All animals are vaccinated/micro~chipped at the time they are adopted. We provide the family adopting a pet a record of all the vaccinations given to the animal. The law requires that all animals adopted must be spayed or neutered.
