Thanks for having the commitment and courage to bring the horrendous shortcomings of Los Angeles Animal Services under Brenda Barnette's management to a public forum. We've witnessed too many animal advocates who have been mesmerized by Brenda's mantra of "NO KILL AT THE SHELTERS". We are witnessing the dumping and death of too many wonderful animals on the street because someone WAS turned away for turning in an animal at one of the city's shelters! This is part of Barnette's directive to keep HER shelter intake numbers and ruth numbers deceptively low. We have firsthand knowledge of the turn away directive! Barnett is in apparent violation of her duties and the LEGAL duties of Los Angeles Animal Services! Shame on her!
