About

We are Recycled Doggies, an all-volunteer, all foster-home based rescue in Cincinnati, Ohio. We began as volunteers at a local shelter and grew very fond of shelter dogs, so when we started Recycled Doggies, we decided to focus on shelter dogs. We do not take in strays or owner surrenders.

Adoption process

Our adoption fee is $195. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative (tested if over 8 months), dewormed, and microchipped. Our dogs live in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted. Since we don't have a shelter or facility, we introduce our dogs to potential adopters at our weekend adoption events. You must apply and be approved prior to adopting from Recycled Doggies. We do not adopt outside our area, which we define as within 2 hours driving distance of downtown Cincinnati (zip code 45202).
