About

Pets in Distress of South Florida, Inc. (PID) is a non-profit organization established in 1994 and run by a tight-knit network of volunteers. PID rescues dogs and cats that have been abandoned, surrendered and/or abused. Our mission is to enlist more volunteers in order to provide foster homes for our rescued animals. Thereafter we work diligently and network tirelessly to find permanent loving homes for all of our fostered animals. Our rescues are cared for, vetted and given a second shot at a very happy life!
