Pet Placement Center is a small, private adoption agency and Chattanooga's oldest no-kill animal shelter. All operating funds come from donations, adoption fees, and fundraising projects. We receive no agency funding or government assistance.

Adoption process

The application must be completed in full. Missing information on the application will delay the processing time. You must be at least 18 years of age. Picture ID may be requested for verification. You must have a functional source of communication. Any questions about the application are typically emailed unless otherwise specified by the applicant. We ask that you spend time with the dog or cat you are interested in before completing the adoption. If you are applying for a dog and have a dog, a Meet & Greet will be required after the application is approved.
