About

Pei Pals Rescue was formed in 2013 to help the abandoned and abused Chinese Shar-Pei in Illinois and other surrounding states. We are currently working on getting set up as a 501(c)(3) status so that your generous donations can be tax-deductible. We are volunteered based and we rely on the help of foster homes, without them, we could not do this. Because our dogs live in a home, they get proper socialization and can be less stressed. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome those abandoned and abused Chinese Shar-Pei. Our dogs come from those who are on "death row" at city/county shelters.
