Peace, Love & Doggie Paws Rescue (PLDP) was founded in 2014 for the primary purpose of saving homeless animals. PLDP utilizes a network of foster homes to care for animals while they are with the rescue. PLDP provides all medical and training care for animals while they are in foster care. All of our animals receive at a minimum spay/neuter, micro-chip, rabies, distemper (dog), FVRCP (cat), Hw test (dog), Combo test (cat). Most of our animals require more extensive medical care such as dentals, Lyme treatment, bloodwork panels, and various surgeries including prolapsed uterine surgery, eye enucleation, mass removal, and amputations. It is our goal to provide our animals with all of the medical necessary for them to enjoy their second chances. We are so grateful that we have been able to save over 170 lives since inception. PLDP is a 501(c)(3) recognized charity, and is all volunteer run. Our goal is to service primarily those shelters and owner surrenders close to home.
PLDP's number one goal is the successful placement of pets into their forever homes. Our process is designed to ensure the best adoption match for our pets and your family. Families interested in adopting a pet should fill out the adoption application below and email it to pldpaws@gmail.com. A PLDP representative will review your application and respond to you within 48 hours. After your application is processed, a time to meet your new fur friend can be scheduled. PLDP also requires home visits for all applicants. This visit can be done at the time of the meet or at a separate time. If you have any questions regarding our adoption process, please feel free to contact us. You new pet will be spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, heartworm tested (dogs), FELV/FIV combo tested (cats), and fully vaccinated prior to adoption unless restricted by age, which will be disclosed to you prior to adoption.
