PB&J Animal Rescue is a foster based, all breed animal rescue located in Southwest Florida. We are a group of dedicated volunteers committed to the rescue of unwanted, abandoned, and neglected dogs and cats. We seek to advocate for animals cast off in high-kill, rural shelters in South Central Florida. PB&J wants to raise awareness for the need to spay and neuter pets, not only in the home but also on a catch and release basis for stray cats. We want to educate pet owners on the importance of monthly heartworm preventative, as well as yearly vaccines. Our rescue was formed primarily to help the Clewiston Animal Shelter and that's where we rescue most of our dogs. We also collect supplies for the shelter, work to network the dogs and cats that come in, and help to transport the animals to safety.
