About

Paws for Genesis is an all-breed dog rescue based out of Santa Cruz County. We save dogs from high-kill shelters all over California and give them a new beginning in life. We hope to bring more awareness to the many adoptable dogs that are being over looked in shelters and give them the loving forever homes they deserve. Paws for Genesis was, like many rescues inspired by one of our own pups, Genesis. Genesis and Basha were our introduction to "bully" breeds. Finding us at a young age the Pit Bull/ Rottweiler mix sisters would prove to be the most loving, loyal companions any person could hope for. Genesis blessed our lives for 12 years before passing, while Basha at 14 years young is still with us today. What better way to honor one of the many amazing dogs out there than by rescuing others and bringing them to loving forever homes?! Paws for Genesis is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization. All donations help dogs in need, and they're tax deductible!
