Animal Shelter Relief Rescue (ASR) is an all-volunteer, non-profit, 501(c)(3) animal rescue based in Santa Cruz, CA. Our mission is to relieve overcrowded animal shelters through rescue, thereby reducing euthanasia.

Adoption process

1. Find your perfect companion animal(s) through our PetFinder list or at our Adoption Fairs. 2. Click the button above to fill out an Adoption Application online or fill one out at our Adoption Fairs. 3. We'll review your application & let you know if we have any questions. 4. Once approved & the Adoption Fee* is received, the animal can go home as long as he/she is healthy & altered!
