Old Dogs New Digs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, comprised of volunteers, dedicated to helping homeless and displaced senior dogs. We partner closely with shelters and rescues, who have ownership of the dog, to assist with getting the dog into a loving foster or forever home. 100% of the funds we raise support the health and well-being of these dogs.

Adoption process

Old Dogs New Digs is an organization that partners with shelters, rescues or individuals to help find homes for their senior dogs (and cats!) in need. As we don’t take ownership of the dogs, all adoptions will be completed using the adoption applications, contracts and adoption fees from the organizations or individuals that own the animal. Our Dog Adoption Survey helps us learn about what type of dog a potential adopter is looking for to help us make successful matches, but this does not take place of the applications and contracts that will need to be filled out for the organizations and individuals owning the dogs. We do some screening (veterinary checks and home checks) for the shelters, rescues and individuals who want us to help in that way.
