Lulu’s Rescue, founded in 2010, is an all-breed, inclusive dog rescue with 501c3 non-profit status. Our mission is to end the daily killing of thousands of adoptable dogs in the US and to break the cycle of homelessness through spay/neuter outreach, humane education, and rescue efforts. We, along with a dedicated group of volunteers and supporters, bring a vast range of experience and an unwavering commitment to the promotion of compassionate care as an end to animal suffering. Adoption process

How The Adoption Process Works: 1. Choose Your Dog. 2. Submit our Adoption Application Request form. 3. Complete the Online Adoption Application. 4. Speak with an adoption counselor. 5. Wait to be notified. When You're Approved: 1. Congratulations! If you are approved to adopt, we will arrange a mutually acceptable time for you to meet your new family member. The contract must be completed and adoption fee paid before you take your dog home. PLEASE NOTE: The only forms of payment we can accept are payment using your credit/debit card, PayPal, or a certified bank check or money order. We are sorry but we are no longer able to accept personal checks for adoption fees. 2. Ensure a smooth transition to your family. Take a look at our resources, and contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We're here to help. 3. You will receive your dog's vet records within 10 business days. Please make an initial wellness appointment with your veterinarian within 2 weeks and bring along the records provided by the rescue as well as a fecal sample.
