Hope for All Pets, Inc. (HAPI) is an all-breed 501(c)(3) animal rescue based in Central Kentucky. The primary goal of HAPI is to rescue animals around the state and find them loving forever homes. HAPI was founded in January of 2016. Since then, we have saved over 3,000 lives. We pull cats, dogs, and sometimes other furry friends from county shelters who are at risk of euthanasia. HAPI then depends on volunteer foster parents to care for and sometime rehabilitate animals before they are adopted. We network with rescues in the US and Canada to save as many lives as possible. HAPI also assists families with basic pet needs, such as food and medical care, to prevent them from having to surrender their animals. We have recently begun organizing low-cost spay/neuter clinics. Our clinic provides spay/neuter surgeries and vaccines for families who may not be able to afford it otherwise. Spaying and neutering dogs and cats is the only humane option for reducing the homeless pet population, and we are proud to play a role in making it more accessible for all.
Our adoption process begins with an application. You will receive an email from us confirming that we have received it within 48 hours. This is NOT an automated response, but a personal email. If you do not receive an email, please reach out to us at HopeForAllPetsInc@outlook.com so we can look into the issue. It can take up to 10 days to complete the adoption process. Once you have submitted your application, please give your veterinarian (if applicable) consent to speak with HAPI. Once your application is approved, we will contact you via email. You will have 48 hours to confirm that you would like to proceed with the adoption, and we can make arrangements to finalize. Finalizing the adoption includes a home visit, which is short and simple, and signing of the adoption contract. The contract is the official transfer of ownership, and it lays out our rules and regulations for adoption. We do not accept deposits on animals and we are not able to hold them for any period of time, without an approved application on file. We ask that you please understand that our process is this way because we are a small organization with often only one volunteer screening applications. Please be patient with us as we work hard to get back to you as quickly as possible.
