We are a foster-based rescue group dedicated to finding forever homes for all of our little hidden treasures. We strive to ensure that all adoptions result in optimal conditions for both the adopted feline and the adoptive owner/family. We will work with adopters to resolve any problems that may occur following an adoption.

Adoption process

Anyone who is interested in adoption may send us an e-mail and request an application. We will process all applications that are received, and we will make a decision based on the applicant that is most suitable for any given pet-we do not work on a first-come-first-served basis. If the application is approved, we will make an appointment for the applicant to pick up their new family member. All adopters are expected to sign an adoption contract and pay a fee to help defray medical and other expenses incurred. Shipping animals unaccompanied is unpredictable and very stressful for the animals. Hidden Treasures will NOT ship pets under any circumstances. Adopters will pick up their pets in person and transport them directly to their new home in an appropriate pet carrier. Hard carriers are preferable to soft carriers with zippers. If the pet is being transported by air, adopters are expected to bring the pet on board the plane. We also offer a "virtual shelter" service. If you have a feline that needs a new home, please send us an e-mail, and we can post them on our website and screen applicants to find an appropriate placement. We require three clear photos of each cat (including one frontal view of the face, and one of the entire body and head), any available vet records, and a description of each cat, including breed, sex, age, an explanation of any medical and/or behavior problems, reason for re-homing, and compatibility with other animals and children.

Hidden Treasures had helped me with a couple of cats that needed homes. Aurora was so knowledgeable and caught a health issue with one that I had missed. She immediately set up a vet appointment and we got the cat in right away. I am very impressed with the thoroughness that she handles every cat/kitten with. She is also very thorough in her adoption process making sure that she matches cats with owners. I love that this organization is all about the cats and what is in their best interest only.

This is the only rescue I would ever adopt from. They are genuine and truly care about their animals. Their volunteers are dedicated and courteous, and make you feel like they truly care about matching you up with a cat that will fit best with your family. My family is now complete thanks to them.

This place is a scam they go around they taken cast from outside and then they bring them to pet stores leave them locked in cages and tell you to pay them a few hundred dollars in order to take them back out of the cage and take them home they don't even have a real phone number to contact they only want you to contact them through email which is a red flag of real rescues never ever ever be fooled by them or adopt from them ever

If I could put zero stars I would. In trying to adopt a stray that was picked up after having kittens, I was treated terrible. At first very sweet with a lot of questions. I had no problem giving Vet name and number as used Vet for years. I have an indoor cat and a dog currently. My cat very healthy and my dog older and has had bouts with cancer who is up to date on his shots and was told by Vet does not need extra shots etc. Today another call from Hidden Treasure and as I was getting so excited to meet Columbia and others was told by representative I neglect my animals! If I want to adopt a cat I should adopt my cat Taz and take him to a vet! Attitude was understatement. I am not a vet but I have never been a neglectful owner. All these animals needing homes and I get that but at what expense!
