Friends of Beverly Animals (or FOBA) is an all-volunteer Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the care of homeless animals in and around Beverly, Massachusetts. FOBA’s mission is to better the lives of homeless animals through: Assisting with the feeding of homeless animals; Assisting with the cost of medical care for homeless animals; Creating a network of foster and permanent homes for homeless animals; Long-term planning for the establishment of an animal shelter in and around Beverly. FOBA also plans to develop educational activities designed to raise community awareness of the plight of homeless animals, to increase public sensitivity to homeless animals and to reduce the frequency of animal abandonment.
