Freedom Farm Rescue’s mission is to rescue, provide sanctuary, rehabilitate and ultimately to find permanent loving homes for abandoned, stray and neglected dogs.

Adoption process

The process of adoption begins with the completion of an adoption application. After submission, please allow for 7-10 days for you to hear from us as we run on a volunteer basis. We are looking for the perfect homes that fit our dogs' needs, so sometime it takes a while for all applications to be processed. If we feel that the home is a good fit for the dog, we will then schedule a meet-and-greet with all of the family members who live in your home. If the family AND the rescue are ready to move forward with the adoption, we set up a home visit. At the adoption, full payment of the adoption fee is received and the adoption contract is signed. FFR will provide all necessary documentation for the dog's new family. We ask that all potential adopters are patient with the rescue due to the fact the rescue is volunteer run and we have lots of dogs we are finding homes for!
