For The Love Of Cats Rescue And Adoption

About

For the Love of Cats is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving lives and finding homes for homeless cats and kittens, including strays and those relinquished by their owners. We also provide medical assistance for sick and injured cats and have a TNR (Trap, Neuter and Release) program for feral cats. Additionally, we educate the public on a variety of cat-related topics. We are foster-based, meaning all our rescued cats are housed in volunteer foster homes, where they are loved and cared for. We do not have a brick and mortar shelter however we do show our cats through space at our partner organization, PetSmart Commerce Township, located at 385 Haggerty Road, near 14 Mile Road.

Adoption process

To begin the process, please complete our​ Adoption Application . Once submitted, please allow at least 2 business days for processing. Keep in mind you are under no obligation to adopt when completing this form, and specifying a certain cat does not obligate you to that pet. Once approved, an Adoption Coordinator will work with you to arrange a "meet and greet" with your selected cat, or determine what available cats best fit your adoption criteria and then set up meetings.
